Brittany! Lovely vlog. :-) I hope you have a grand old time in the elephant park - that sounds like so much fun! (And an aside, the weather here in New England has not been that great either... remember last year at this time we had 95 degree days and crazy humidity? Lately it's been raining non-stop and has been pretty cold... though I think I prefer that to last year. Still, strange weather times for sure...)
Brittany, Great to see you. I'm looking up Grahamstown; however, I doubt it's near Cape Town or Durban. I'll arrive there (Cape Town) on July 13.
If you have thoughts about how I can connect to some community based responses to HIV / AIDS, let me know. I'm specifically looking at moral response (responding to the other) through Zygmunt Bauman's framework of postmodern morality. It's an impossible research question I realize now ... but I'm going and will take field notes. Just need to my foot in the door to have access to talk with people.
People should interview you - you rock at answering questions! Thanks for sharing your thoughts - as always, it's a pleasure to hear what you're up to!
Brittany, I absolutely LOVE the woman you have grown up to be! So proud of all you are doing. Being adventurous is not necessarily about coordination--it's really a state of mind!
Sorry to be so behind on reading your posts, things are crazy here for us on the farm. With 103-110 degree weather for three entire months and no rain, our well has gone dry and we are having to haul it from neighbors. It's like being a pioneer with a computer, which fortunately does not run on water as everything else seems to.
Brittany! I know that I am months behind but I just discovered your blog and have loved reading it. I also enjoyed your "vlog". I'm jealous of your adventures. Thanks for sharing! :)
